On The Move

Estelle has started scooting herself on her back and she can move pretty far and fast. I finally witnessed how she's been able to move from one side of the crib to the other in no time. Here it is for your viewing pleasure.

 

 

G&G Daycare

G&G Daycare is the official name of Grandma Cindi and Grandpa Marty's home two days a week when they watch both Estelle and Andrew. One of the best parts of this family run business is that I get daily updates in the form of pictures and little stories throughout the day. Here are some from this past week which were so fun I thought I'd share. Sorry G&G, no new pictures for you to see this time, but thanks so much for sharing them with me!

Grant's Farm

This past Sunday we took Estelle to Grant's Farm for the first time. It's a perfect outing as it is close to our house and free. Plus they give out free beer for the adults! Estelle did great on our trip and I think we will repeat this adventure many times this summer.

 

Here she is relaxing in her stroller and then a little later passed out from all the fun.

Outdoor High Chair

Keith and I love being outside in the summer and we wanted to have a high chair for Estelle this summer, since we plan on having many meals on our back patio. Her new chair arrived this past week and we've already gotten to try it out. I think she likes it!!

High Chair

We started feeding Estelle rice cereal a couple of weeks ago to introduce her to the spoon. Overall it went pretty well. This week we got to start introducing veggies and fruit and I thought she should also try out her high chair. I think she likes it!

And the squash seemed to go down pretty well too!

New Hat

I bought this great little hat for Estelle to wear this summer and I am in love with it. The amazing thing is that she doesn't try to take it off her head. I was sure it wouldn't last more than a minute or two when I first put it on her.  

Here she is sporting her hat in her big girl stroller. I can't believe how much she's grown.

Ohio Trip

Last weekend Estelle and I flew to Ohio to visit friends and family. She did amazing on the plane both ways, which made me a proud mama. I was a bit nervous flying with her by myself but everything went smoothly.  Here are some pictures of her with Mimi and Papa. I must get better at snapping pictures when we visit because these are some of the only ones I have from the trip, but we got to see so many people over the weekend. It was wonderful.
